At Kitchen Dynamics, we are a fast-growing commercial kitchen equipment service company specializing in installation, maintenance, and repair of cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing systems. Our technicians are on the road every day supporting restaurants, hotels, schools, and institutional kitchens. We move fast, solve problems under pressure, and take pride in keeping critical kitchen operations running.


We’re looking for a Dispatch & Service Manager to take full ownership of scheduling, technician coordination, and day-to-day field operations performance.


Role Overview
This is a leadership role at the center of our business operations. You will be responsible for dispatching technicians, optimizing routes and schedules, ensuring jobs are properly staffed and completed, and maintaining smooth communication between customers, technicians, and management.


You will also help build structure around how we manage jobs—from intake to completion—so nothing falls through the cracks.


Key Responsibilities


Dispatch & Scheduling
  • Assign and schedule technicians based on skill set, location, and urgency
  • Manage same-day emergencies and service calls efficiently
  • Optimize daily routes to reduce downtime and travel inefficiencies
  • Balance workload across the team to maximize productivity
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily field operations and ensure jobs are progressing as scheduled
  • Track open jobs, parts status, and job completion timelines
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Ensure proper job documentation and closeout procedures are followed
Communication & Coordination
  • Serve as the central point between technicians, customers, and management
  • Provide clear updates on scheduling changes, delays, and job status
  • Coordinate parts ordering and delivery timelines with service needs
Performance & Accountability
  • Monitor technician productivity and job completion rates
  • Support training and onboarding of new dispatch or field staff
  • Help establish KPIs and operational reporting systems
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years in dispatch, field service coordination, or operations management (HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen, or similar industry strongly preferred)
  • Strong ability to manage fast-moving schedules with frequent changes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, urgent service environments
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with field service management software is a plus
