Location Hibbing MNCleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for Dispatch Systems Administrator at Hibbing Taconite in Hibbing MN. As a Dispatch Administrator you will analyze and evaluate dispatch data with an emphasis on producing recommendations necessary to drive continuous improvement in mining operations.Summary of Responsibilities Ensure data integritymonitorand maintain dispatch system performance.Manageimplementfixesimprovementsand upgrades to the system.Assure proper functionality of shovel truck drill and supportequipmentGPS-based system interfaces.Assure proper functionality of data radio transmission networks.Support Mine Operations byoptimizingtheutilizationof the dispatch system toassuremaximum productivity.Assistengineering maintenance and operations in the resolution ofany and alldispatch issues.Manage dispatch systemvendorto provide all necessary repairs and upgradesofthe mine dispatch system.Analyze and evaluate dispatch data with an emphasis on producing recommendations necessary to drive continuous improvement in mining operations.Manage dispatch reporting system and database asrequiredto providetimelyandaccuratedata produced from both vendor andminedeveloped reports.Writecustom reports as required bymine personneland management.Repair andor restore computer hardware software and networking.Support the implementation of hourly and dispatcher performance feedback reportingutilizingsystem information.Identifyand justify future purchases and mine management system improvements.Remain currentwithindustry developments surrounding dispatch and minemanagementhardware software and data management.Other duties as assigned.RequiredQualificationsExperience with database management toolslanguages is strongly preferredA degree in computer engineering computer science similar field or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsPreviousexperience with SQLPreviousexperience with SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS is desiredPreviousexperience with data analysis tools such as Python R or other scripting languages is desiredPreviousexperience with report automation is desiredWork in a mining environment preferred.Experience with Modular dispatch systemRegular attendance is an essential requirement. Must be able to physically perform all these responsibilities safely walk on uneven surfaces climb equipment operate pickup and other small fleet vehicles etc.The salary range for this role is 80000 to 100000.  An employees pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications experience skills geographic location and business or organizational needs. Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
