Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our transportation team.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services

• Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
• 
  
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions to anticipate and avoid potential delays or issues
• 
  
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to transportation services
• 
  
• Maintain accurate records of transportation services, including schedules, routes, and driver information
• 
  
• Provide support and assistance to drivers as needed
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• 
  
• Continuously evaluate and improve transportation services to meet customer needs and expectations
• 
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 
  
• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role
• 
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 
  
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• 
  
• Proficient in using computer software, including transportation management systems and Microsoft Office
• 
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
•
