Dispatcher-Construction

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Dispatcher to join their client's dynamic team in the construction industry in Fresno. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently manage dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling Deliveries: Plan and organize routes for heavy trucks carrying materials like concrete, asphalt, or steel.
• Managing Equipment: Assign machinery, service vehicles, and drivers to specific locations based on daily site needs.
• Real-Time Communication: Maintain constant contact with field crews, drivers, and project managers via two-way radios, phones, or dispatch software.
• Problem Solving: Handle unexpected delays like traffic jams, weather issues, or equipment breakdowns by rerouting drivers or calling for repairs.
• Compliance Tracking: Monitor logs to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, such as Department of Transportation (DOT) rules for commercial drivers.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Proficient in using dispatch software and communication tools.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, during the first shift.

Benefits:

The position offers competitive pay with a salary range of $23 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
