Trucking DispatcherLocation: Corona, CASchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview-We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate asphalt deliveries and manage trucking logistics. This role serves as a critical communication hub between asphalt plants, drivers, and job sites to ensure timely and efficient material delivery. The position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.Key Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate daily truck deliveries to job sitesEnsure on-time delivery of asphalt and materialsMonitor fleet activity and optimize truck utilizationCommunicate with drivers, plant personnel, and customers to resolve issues quicklyAdjust schedules as needed to accommodate changing project demandsMaintain accurate dispatch and delivery records using internal systems

Fast-paced, operations-focused role supporting field and plant teamsCollaborative, tight-knit team culture within dispatch and field operationsSeasonal workload, with peak activity during warmer months and slower winter periodsMay involve occasional challenges related to scheduling, logistics, and customer demands

Qualifications

Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or construction preferredAbility to multitask and make quick, effective decisions under pressureStrong communication and organizational skillsComfortable working with specialized in-house dispatch and tracking systemsFlexibility to support occasional night or weekend work for road projects

Compensation

Approximately $20 per hour, depending on experience
