Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher to support daily field service operations. This position is responsible for coordinating technician schedules, dispatching service calls, communicating with customers, and ensuring service requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, previous dispatching or scheduling experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming service requests, emails, and calls and dispatch technicians accordingly
- Coordinate daily technician schedules and service assignments
- Communicate with customers and technicians regarding service updates and scheduling changes
- Prioritize service requests based on urgency, technician availability, and customer needs
- Track service activity and assist with ensuring timely completion of work orders
- Provide administrative support including purchase orders, parts coordination, and documentation
- Maintain accurate service records and technician resources
- Participate in weekly technician meetings
- Assist with special projects and inventory processes as needed
Qualifications
- Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience required
- Experience supporting field technicians or a service-based organization preferred
- Strong customer service and phone communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Schedule
- Compensation up to $60,000 annually (inclusive of base salary and monthly on-call stipend)
- Fully on-site position located in Cumming, GA
- Rotating on-call responsibility required:
- One full work week plus weekend coverage (7 consecutive days)
- On-call support is handled remotely outside normal business hours
- Monthly stipend provided as part of the overall compensation package
