Title: Dispatcher Field Distribution
Pay: $17.69 $22.28/hour
Hours: Monday Friday; 7:00 AM 4:30 PM (8-hour shift with optional 30-minute lunch)

Overview
Join a fast-paced distribution team supporting daily delivery operations and logistics coordination. This office-based role is ideal for someone with dispatch, routing, or transportation experience who enjoys multitasking, working with spreadsheets, and ensuring deliveries stay on schedule. You'll coordinate truck routes, manage shipping documentation, communicate with customers and internal teams, and help keep operations running efficiently.
Job Description
Coordinate daily product deliveries and equipment returns.
Create and adjust truck routes to maximize efficiency and control shipping costs.
Monitor order status and ensure required documentation is completed.
Update Oracle and delivery systems with shipping and order information.
Create trip sheets and bills of lading for delivery drivers.
Send delivery notifications and shipping updates to internal teams.
Maintain Excel reports and track delivery activity.
Communicate delivery schedules, ETAs, and route changes with customers and internal departments.
Process shipping confirmations and update order records.
Request certificates of insurance as needed.
Coordinate with third-party carriers for delivery scheduling.
Place service calls and provide delivery time authorizations.
Support senior dispatch staff and assist with additional operational tasks as needed.
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, or truck routing experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
Basic computer proficiency and 10-key data entry skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced office environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation.
Basic reading, math, and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience using Oracle.
Experience with Descartes transportation management software.
Experience using Kofax document management software.
Knowledge of shipping documentation and bills of lading.
Experience coordinating deliveries or transportation logistics.
Familiarity with routing software and dispatch operations.
