Salary: $ 60,000- $ 65,000 annually (higher compensation available for candidates with DOT driver safety experience)

Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PM (Remote Option: Saturdays may be worked remotely after training)

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional education or training in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or business is a plus.
• DOT safety, transportation compliance, or fleet management training preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics coordination, or fleet operations.
• Experience scheduling drivers, coordinating deliveries, and managing transportation routes.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety standards, and compliance requirements preferred.
• Proficiency with dispatch, routing, fleet management, or logistics software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• DOT driver safety experience is highly preferred and may qualify for higher compensation.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to monitor multiple transportation activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong visual attention to detail when reviewing schedules, routes, reports, and logistics data.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to transportation issues and emergency situations.

Job Duties

• Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient transportation operations.
• Monitor driver performance, routing, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Optimize transportation routes using logistics analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate real-time communication with drivers to resolve delivery, traffic, and scheduling issues.
• Track shipments, verify logistics data, and maintain accurate transportation records.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and transportation safety standards.
• Lead incident response efforts and assist with transportation-related problem resolution.
• Support customer service activities, delivery updates, and operational reporting.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to transportation growth and efficiency initiatives
