Job Summary

We are seeking a calm, decisive Dispatcher to coordinate transit channels and manage commercial driver communication. You will handle route scheduling and resource deployment to optimize supply chain delivery networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign scheduled delivery orders to company and independent contract drivers.

• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers on the road, resolving transit hurdles.

• Monitor traffic developments, weather disruptions, and load status using real-time software.

• Log communication and delivery milestones accurately into routing software.

• Manage emergent call-outs and schedule adjustments seamlessly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior dispatching, route planning, or emergency communications center experience.

• Proficiency using professional mapping, GPS tracking, and TMS logistics software.

• Excellent active listening and crisis-communication capabilities.

• Strong geographic comprehension of local and regional shipping lanes.

• Ability to manage heavy multi-channel phone and radio traffic calmly.
