Monday through Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities as a Dispatcher:
Dispatch Operations
- Coordinate and assign trips to drivers to ensure efficient and reliable service
- Monitor transportation operations in real time and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate trip information, schedule changes, and operational updates to drivers
- Ensure on-time pickups and drop-offs while maintaining service standards
- Respond quickly to changing transportation needs and service requests
Driver & Customer Support
- Serve as a key point of communication between drivers, passengers, and management
- Provide drivers with route guidance, trip updates, and operational assistance
- Address customer inquiries professionally and resolve service concerns promptly
- Support a positive customer experience through clear communication and timely problem resolution
Administrative Responsibilities of a Dispatcher:
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and trip documentation
- Track daily operational activity and assist with reporting requirements
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improved efficiency
- Work closely with management and team members to support operational goals
What We're Looking for as a Dispatcher:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, call center operations, transportation, logistics, or scheduling preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with transportation software, scheduling systems, or fleet operations is a plus
