Position SummaryThe Public Safety Dispatcher serves as the communications center for the Big Canoe Department of Public Safety. This position receives emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatches appropriate personnel, monitors security systems, maintains accurate records, and provides professional customer service to property owners, residents, guests, contractors, and employees. The Dispatcher supports the safety and security of the Big Canoe community and must be familiar with the rules, policies, and procedures of the Big Canoe Property Owners Association. Physical RequirementsThe employee must be able to sit for extended periods, operate a computer, telephone, and radio equipment, communicate effectively, read computer screens and written materials, occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds, and work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations as needed.
