Dispatcher - Night Shift - Fuel

NewGen Logistics, LLC, a world-class logistics brokerage, seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join our night shift Dispatch team. This position is for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday and includes competitive pay, a weekend shift differential, and benefits.

As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of fuel trucks to our customers in the fuel industry. You will coordinate logistics, communicate with drivers and customers, and maintain accurate records.

 Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: A Dispatcher must be highly detailed and work well under pressure to coordinate many changing factors. (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of fuel trucks to ensure timely delivery to customer locations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide them with clear instructions, pickup/drop-off locations, and any special requirements.
• Analytical skills to problem-solve, resolve, and coordinate difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
• Knowledge of safety regulations and laws
• Enable prompt delivery
• Inventory control
• Technology skills, particularly in transportation management software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly to all involved parties
• Ability to stay calm in fast-paced situations and always maintain the code of conduct. 

 Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching or logistics, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and requirements.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exhibit exceptional attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
