Dispatcher

Join our team in Rayne, LA as a Dispatcher! In this fast paced role, you'll be the vital connection between our customers, drivers, and operations team. You'll coordinate commercial and roll off service requests, dispatch work orders, troubleshoot service issues, and help keep daily operations running smoothly. • Pay Range: $18.50-$19.50 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls, emails, and inquiries regarding service requests, account changes, billing questions, and service issues.

• Establish, update, and cancel customer accounts, process payments, maintain accurate records, and perform data entry within company systems.

• Schedule, dispatch, route, and reroute work orders to drivers based on operational needs and customer requirements.

• Investigate missed pickups and coordinate timely service recovery to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Communicate with drivers, supervisors, and other departments to resolve operational issues and ensure efficient service delivery.

• Utilize dispatch, routing, and customer management software to monitor daily operations, manage work orders, and meet time sensitive deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch, customer service, transportation, logistics, or waste industry experience preferred.

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and email systems preferred

• Strong typing and 10-key skills required

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
