    Dispatcher 
    Transdev inCity, Stateis hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients.We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

    Non-CBA Position:
    1. Competitive compensation package of minimum $17.00 – Maximum $21.00
    Benefits include: 
    1. Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

    1. Holidays:12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

    Key Responsibilities: 
    1. Oversee road serviceassigned tocarriers by tracking trip performance measures, routebeginningon time, performance, incidents,etc.  
    1. Provide customer support by responding to questions and concernsregardingcustomer trips including no shows,cancellations,andmissed trips.  
    1. Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act asa liaisonbetween the carrier and emergency services.  
    1. Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
    1. Other duties as required.Qualifications:  
    1. High School Diploma orGED;Technical Degree preferred. 
    1. 3-5 years' experience dispatching. 
    1. Excellent verbal,interpersonal,and customer service skills.  
    1. Problem solving and analytical skills.  
    1. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. 
    1. Subject toDOTdrug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.  
    Physical Requirements:The essential functions of this position require the ability to: 
    1. Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, workalone,and in remote locations.  
    1. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day);frequentlywalk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces 
    1. Push and pull objects up toXXpounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or withoutassistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level 
    1. Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehiclefumesand noise.
