Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher in South Plainfield, NJ, you will coordinate daily transportation and service activities to keep operations running safely and efficiently. You will communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams, monitor schedules, respond to changing priorities, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and able to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with plan, assign, and monitor routes, deliveries, pickups, or service calls according to operational needs.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal departments regarding schedules, updates, and delays.
• Track vehicle and personnel status while addressing schedule changes, emergencies, and other operational issues.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, delivery information, service records, and related documentation.
• Promote compliance with company procedures, transportation regulations, and safety standards.

Salary rage $50,000 - $55,000 per year

Other Requirements:

• Experience in transportation and supervision preferred
• High School diploma plus specialized training related to transportation or 2 year degree from accredited institution
• Knowledge of State and/or Federal Laws and reports pertaining to transportation and student attendance preferred
• CDL Class B with P & S endorsement
