Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our team in West Valley City. In this role, you will be directly responsible for scheduling drivers, coordinating pickups and deliveries, and serving as a key communication link between customers, drivers, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers for freight deliveries, pickups, and package transfers
• Coordinate and communicate with customers and vendors regarding shipment details, timelines, and special requests
• Plan and adjust efficient routes for drivers based on operational needs
• Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Answer incoming calls and provide timely solutions and updates
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and communications
• Make real-time routing adjustments to address delays or changing priorities
• Support team operations with additional duties as needed
