Overview

KABS4KIDS INC is a trusted, family-owned transportation company dedicated to safely and reliably transporting students to and from school. Duties

• Coordinate assignments of bus drivers, bus routes, vehicles, and substitutes for morning, mid-day and afternoon shifts.
• Assist with or coordinate extracurricular transportation.
• Dispatch drivers and vehicles and communicate with them
• Communicate with parents and school personnel
• Assist with emergency situations
• Maintain all required physical and computerized logs, worksheets, files, and reports related to dispatch operations.
• Perform bus driving duties when needed.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of basic computer programs.
• Working knowledge of school locations and local roadway systems.
• Ability to read, write, communicate effectively in person / by telephone
• Possession of a Commercial Driver’s License with a School Bus/ Passenger endorsement or have the ability to obtain such.
• Ability to collect and organize detailed information and prepare required reports.
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI
• Must have dispatch experience .
• Multilingual preferred

Working Conditions:

• Multilingual preferred
• Primarily office-based with occasional travel for driving duties.
• May require working outside of regular business hours as needed.
