The Central Sterilization Technician plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations by ensuring all dental instruments, equipment, and materials are properly sterilized, cleaned, and prepared for use. This position is responsible for effectively managing the cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing of dental instruments to maintain optimal infection control standards. The technician will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure the timely delivery of sterile instruments and supplies. This position may require a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings, depending on clinic needs. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and comprehend English, follow detailed instructions, and communicate effectively to fulfill the above duties.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
Required Skills
Must have a High School Diploma or a GED and a minimum of 12 months experience. Must have CRCST Certification or ability to obtain within one year. Monday - Friday; 11:00am - 7:30PM; 40 hrs a week Includes a rotating Saturday schedule and occasional Sunday Schedule for the CDCA exams.
