About the Role: The Dispensary Supervisoris responsible foroverseeing all day-to-day operations in the dispensary, including aiding the Dispensary Manager, meetingguestsexpectations for quality & service and cash handling. The main responsibilities of the Dispensary Supervisor include accountability for accuratelyutilizingstate NJMMP site andMetrcPoint-Of-Sales system, daily register balances, and product inventory; troubleshooting patient related discrepancies; andmaintaininga smooth flow of operation daily. How youll make a difference: Supervisory and Sales Responsibilities Inspires and motivates teams by leading by example, creating a positive atmosphere, encouraging a guest first philosophy, and promoting a global mindset to GO BEYOND deliveringexceptional results. Spends majority of time on the retail floor overseeing staff and ensuring exceptional guest experience Supports training and development of team members and consistently coaches team members on service and product knowledge Promotes selling and service skills to achieve sales goals and KPIs Partners with the managers on goal setting and the establishment of daily/weekly/monthly performance objectives Strategically plans daily agenda to ensure adequate staffing and continuallymonitorsbreaks and floor coverage Assigns and oversees daily tasks to ensure the efficiency of sales, inventory, and security functions Communicates daily specials, promotions,and operational updates to staff Swiftly intervenes and de-escalates guest concerns and complaints Holds staff accountable for handbook policies such as attendance, uniform, cash handling, and other standards Ensures the store ismaintainedtohigh standardsof aesthetics, merchandising, organization, and cleanliness Upholds security and safety measures, and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations Partners with Management on employee behavioral issues and development, mayparticipatein delivering constructive feedback, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews Identifiesand communicates business opportunitiespertaining toproduct assortment, operational processes, increasing sales, and team development, andparticipatesin developing and executing action plans Responsible for opening and closing the store as assigned May assume specific areas of responsibility assigned and outlined by Management, such as but not limited to scheduling, time/attendance tracking, education, accounting, supply ordering, etc. Performs other related duties asrequired. Continuing education on using cannabis forappropriate varioustreatments and industry updates Assisting Dispensary Manager in inventory control and ensuring compliance; Performing all receiving, transferring, reporting, reconciling and inventory management functions within seed-to-sale software daily Monitors dispensary for a variety of factors including but not limited to flow, staffing needs, quality of service, inventory changes, atmosphere, and security Ensures all items are correctly priced in POS system and haveaccurateprice tagsdisplayed;oversight of loyalty programs, correct application of discounts ingueststransactions Reviewing employee schedules and following all time-keeping policies including scheduling breaks and lunches within company policy guidelines; enacting disciplinary actions whenrequired Responsible for actively listening,establishingrapport with staff and patients, resolving conflicts, and building overall relationships with staff, Management, and patients Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility Inventory Responsibilities Picks and builds orders, and products for sales orders. Supportswith morning and evening inventory counts. Assistsin the receipt and in-processing of incoming product deliveries. Supports inthe physical recording of daily inventory. Assistsin inventory cycle counts. Performs other related duties asrequired. Cash HandlingResponsibilities Follows dispensary cash handling policies for drops and deposits Responsible for counting and closing daily tills and ensuring balanced counts. Coordinates with Management to conduct cash counts. Ensures cash is bundled for pickupin accordance withbank guidelines. Performs other related duties asrequired. Skills to be Successful: Education and Experience Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Mathrequiredfor inventory, projections, and measurements.
