Distribution Associate

Job Description:
The Distribution Associate is responsible for performing warehouse and material distribution activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely processing and shipment of customer orders. This role includes order picking, scanning, labeling, palletizing, packaging, and preparing products for shipment. The position also involves manually transferring products from custom-sized pallets to standard 40 " 48 " shipping pallets while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Palletize orders include scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Processes orders using RF technology.
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
• May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.
• May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.
• Experience with MHE, preferred.
