Job Title: Discribution Associate

Location: Covington Georgia 30014

Duration: 12 Months

**Shift: Mon - Thurs 5am - 5:30pm **

Job Summary:

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products. **This is a receiving position. So, the person will be standing in trailers and emptying them. **

Job Responsibilities:

· Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.

· Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.

· Processes orders using RF technology.

· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.

· May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.

· May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.

· Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required

· 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.

· Experience with MHE, preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.

· Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.

· Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.

· Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.

· General distribution knowledge.
