Summary
The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)- Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
- Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
- Processes orders using RF technology.
- Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
- May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.
- May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.
- Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
Education and Experience:- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.
- Experience with MHE, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:- Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
- Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
