Distribution Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse/Distribution Associate to support day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including picking and packing orders, shipping, receiving, returns, inventory replenishment, and general warehouse support.

Cross-training will be provided to ensure the individual is comfortable working across multiple areas of the warehouse. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and UPS/FedEx shipping systems is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment

• Receive incoming products and materials

• Process returns and returned merchandise

• Replenish inventory and picking locations

• Prepare and manifest shipments using UPS and FedEx shipping systems

• Learn and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Load and unload trucks as needed

• Perform general warehouse and distribution duties

• Work closely with supervisors and team members to identify and resolve order or inventory issues

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines

• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or pick-and-pack experience preferred, but not required

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday

• Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, and moving products

Equipment

This position may occasionally require the operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts. Employees will only operate equipment after receiving appropriate training and authorization.
