Distribution Center Associate I - Receiving Associate

Fleetpride (Memphis) is looking for a Receiving Associate who is committed to safely, accurately, and productively checking in and putting away inbound freight. Each area is a specific production rate as well as a quality rating that will need to be attained when in specific areas.

Receiving Associate Responsibilities at Fleetpride :

• Receive all incoming product using a RF Scanner
• Properly inspect all product and accompanying paperwork that is required
• Collect, review, and enter all order and shipment data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Put freight away in assigned area at a production level

Our Successful Fleetpride Receiving Associate Will Have:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
• Two years of PC/ Rf Scan gun experience in a distribution facility
• Heavy duty truck parts knowledge/ experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate a sit- down, reach and a double pallet jack
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs. while maintaining attention to detail

• The work is active.
• Typically, the associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50 lbs. The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing.
