Distribution Coordinator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Distribution Coordinator for a company based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical part in daily warehouse operations, working directly with customers, carriers, and warehouse leadership in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys taking on responsibility, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Distribution Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate logistics and communicate with carriers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and international paperwork.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as receiving, cycle counts, packing, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
- Complete computer-based data entry related to shipping, inventory, planning, and KPI tracking.
- Support order quality control processes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in 5S initiatives, kaizen events, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with warehouse leadership to support daily operational goals.
Distribution Coordinator Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or coordinator role.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, shipping, and transportation coordination required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn warehouse POS and inventory systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a warehouse environment.
- Lean, continuous improvement, or kaizen experience preferred.
- Ability to work hands-on in a warehouse setting while managing administrative responsibilities.
