Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Logistics Rails to support our Distribution Center team. This role will be responsible for assisting the loader with Rail Car set-up (pre-load). This includes but is not limited to: Opening car doors, conducting initial clearing/cleaning of dunnage and various paraphernalia out of car, setting up car for loader (placing serviceable dunnage within and directly outside of the rail car, for loader).      

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Expectation is for line hauler to assist loader with Rail Car set-up (pre-load) This includes but not limited to: Opening car doors, conducting initial clearing/cleaning of dunnage and various paraphernalia out of car, setting up car for loader (placing serviceable dunnage within and directly outside of the rail car, for loader)    
• Expectation is for line haulers to assist with Rail Car Dunnage preparation, separation (serviceable from non-serviceable), organization, disposal, inventory checks, and staging  
• Responsible for assisting loaders with shrouding pallets   
• Responsible for track and dock sanitation. This includes but is not limited to cleaning & sorting equipment, lumber, and rail bed. 
• Maintain all areas to 5S standards. This includes all work areas related to rail loading.  
• Must have knowledge on how to set temperature for refer units   
• Participate in total production manufacturing (TPM) to include AM, PM, FI, OCCI, EM and HSE pillar teams as required   
• Participate in the continuous improvement process to include but not limited to, Why-Why & 7-step process meetings to eliminate losses or waste, to include safety issues   
• When equipment problems occur, it is the responsibility of each employee to assist in getting the problem corrected quickly and on time (flow to the work) above and beyond without having to be asked  
• Will be required to learn and use multi-computer skills which are paramount to the team’s success   
• Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by supervisory, management and union representatives Desired Education/Experience

• Ability to troubleshoot problems, determine cause and resolve problems with assistance

Safety:

• Ensure all safety rules, procedure, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed  
• Will stay up to date on all required peak performance safety training. 

The Perfect Blend: Experience

• Must be able to use WMS   
• Ability to operate complex machinery in the achievement of Sanitation goals   
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing   
• Must be able to work with computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Dashpad.   

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

• Must be located in Bradenton, FL, surrounding area, or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future  
• Must have a valid Forklift driver license. 
• Job will require overtime, which could include more than 40 hours per week, 7 days a week and up to 12-hour days
