POSITION PURPOSE:

The Distribution Supervisor''s primary job function is to oversee the warehouse workers and ensure that daily shipping goals are being met as well ensuring a safe work environment.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Experience

• 3 or more years of effective/progressive leadership experience in a distribution environment
• Previous experience with Big Box retailers a plus
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

Skills

• Must possess strong management and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees
• Excellent working knowledge of safety practices and regulations, including OSHA compliance
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, be a team player and have the proven ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor''s Degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred
