Distribution Control Associate Location: Goleta, California Pay Rate: $18.42 – $20.42 per hour
Position Overview A medical device manufacturer seeks a Distribution Control Associate for an approximately five-month onsite contract in Goleta, California. This role supports regulated distribution operations where accuracy and product traceability are critical regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and ship product orders accurately in compliance with distribution SOPs
Verify product lot numbers, expiration dates, and labeling against order documentation
Maintain traceability records for all distributed product
Receive incoming inventory and reconcile quantities against purchase orders
Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
Identify and quarantine non-conforming or damaged product
Maintain a clean and organized distribution area in compliance with GMP standards
Requirements
1+ years of warehouse, distribution, or inventory experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills for inventory and order management systems
Availability for full onsite assignment in Goleta, CA
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or FDA-regulated distribution environment
Familiarity with ERP-based inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Forklift certification
