Remote Distribution Designers/EngineersJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Distribution Designers and Engineers with extensive experience in the power delivery sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Distribution Design Studio in distribution design and engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong focus on quality assurance and quality control.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop distribution systems using DDS.Perform design engineering for power delivery projects, focusing on pole design, relocation, and replacements.Ensure quality assurance and quality control across all projects.Collaborate with teams to support Centerpoint or AEP projects with an emphasis on resiliency and new pole location design.Maintain project timelines and deliverables in a remote work environment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-4 years of experience as a distribution engineer, designer, or design engineer.At least 3 years of experience with DDS (preferred).3+ years of experience in resiliency or DDP, including new pole location and roadway pole relocations.2+ years of QA/QC experience in related projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in power delivery and pole design.Experience with pole relocation and replacements.Strong leadership capabilities.Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
