Job Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $44.51hr - $49.47hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong expertise in utility design and field practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting with customers to determine electric needs and requirements.
  • Design jobs to install, replace, or remove distribution facilities to support customer requests, reliability projects, or infrastructure improvement.
  • Manage multiple distribution projects for new residential and commercial businesses.
  • Meet with customers to determine service needs, design overhead and underground line extensions, estimate costs, and prepare construction drawings.
  • Coordinate construction commits.
  • Coordinate and lead pre-design and pre-construction meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform engineering calculations to aid in planning and corrective measure projects, including load studies, revenue justification, fault current, and voltage drop.
  • Provide leadership and technical support to local operations and contract compliance regarding distribution design standards and practices.
  • Provide seamless service to customers and external constituents.
  • Aid local Right of Way agent with acquiring permits and ROW documents.

Qualification And Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or a Technical Diploma.
  • 4 7+ years of experience.
