A day in the life — Arlington, TX
As a Distribution Operations Specialist, your shift starts by checking the day’s inbound schedule and prioritizing receiving lanes. You’ll unload and receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments with accuracy, then stage, label, and place product into the right storage locations to keep inventory organized and easy to find.
As orders drop, you’ll pick, pack, and prepare them for shipment—double-checking item numbers, counts, and quality before handing them off for carrier pickup. You’ll operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently, and when needed, you’ll assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to safeguard stock accuracy. Throughout the day, you’ll partner closely with teammates to hit deadlines, maintain a clean, safe work area, and promptly report equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership.
