Job Description
A recognized services organization in Illinois is seeking a Distribution Services Production Planner in the Greater Chicago Area. This role supports production planning and fulfillment operations, with responsibility for coordinating print, packaging, distribution, and related workflow activities.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Setting: On-site
Responsibilities:
- Manage production planning workflows for requests, evaluations, and kit instructions.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries through the production planning email inbox.
- Prepare, pack, and process program packets, bulk shipments, and late fulfillments.
- Open, process, and close inbound slide returns and related fulfillment items.
- Support mail center and distribution activities using applicable systems and office tools.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of relevant work experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Strong computer skills.
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills.
- Exceptional phone etiquette.
Desired Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in a mailroom, production, fulfillment, or distribution environment.
- Experience with Oracle or Dynamics 365.
- Experience with OpenText Output Manager.
