We are looking for a DISTRIBUTION TECHNICIAN to join our Midlothian, TX team. As a Distribution Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for performing various preventative maintenance tasks and repairs to equipment.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Operate super bagger
- Perform daily housekeeping duties
- Load railcars, and bulk trucks on and off scales
- Clean pump pits, remove chunks from silos and air slides
- Visual inspection of lubrication gauges and belts
- Assist with troubleshooting and correcting issues with equipment
- Other duties as assigned
About You
We Require:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Must work rotating shift.
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in the English language.
- Must be able to learn to drive and operate bobcat using levers and pedals to operate for clean-up.
- Must be able to climb ladders 50' in height and stairways of 30' in height.
- Must be able to read and understand operating manuals for mobile equipment operated.
- Ability to lift to 60 pounds.
- Ability to see and hear safety indicators and warnings.
- Able to use required hearing protection in certain areas.
- Ability to work at heights up to 60’ above ground level.
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds of weight up/ 2 flights of stairs 2 times per day.
- Must be able to work at heights of 50 ft. or more.
- Must be able lift and carry 20 pounds for up to 200 yards 12 times per day and up/down up to 3 flights of stairs each trip.
- Physical requirements also include visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, climbing on equipment, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, balancing, and squatting to perform the essential functions.
- Must be able to use proper Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
