District Manager

We’re seeking a District Manager to join our team to lead at least 15 store teams across the assigned area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Drive the success and profitability of stores while ensuring outstanding customer service and a safe, compliant work environmentOversee the execution of merchandising, operations, and expense control programsLead, coach, and mentor store managers to meet and exceed business objectivesFoster a collaborative and inclusive environment, promoting teamwork and open communicationSource, recruit, hire, and develop store managers within the district to build a high-performing teamDrive sales, profitability, and expense management to meet company goals, as well as develop and fulfill short- and long-term objectivesImplement established processes and programs, ensuring operational consistency across the districtPromote a culture of safety and compliance, conducting regular audits as neededManage operational budgets and optimize store performanceEnsure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leadersChampion a customer-first mindset across the district, setting high and consistent standardsTravel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays to support and oversee store operations across the districtSkills and Experience: High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferredValid Driver’s License is requiredAt least 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years of multi-store experience is requiredStrong leadership and motivational skills along with the ability to build an effective team is requiredAbility to analyze, organize and present information and focus on results is requiredStrong business acumen and communication skill are requiredHuman resources and asset protection skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsProcess management skillsAbility to work in Microsoft Office is required Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height is requiredAbility to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting   Perks and Benefits: We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being. We are required to obtain specialized licenses for those of our stores that sell alcohol and/or tobacco.  As a manager, you may be required by the local jurisdiction where a store is situated to provide certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages / tobacco products.  Failure to comply and/or qualify for such license can lead to demotion or separation of employment.
