Are you a driven property management professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a District Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of multifamily communities. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching onsite teams, and is passionate about driving operational excellence and resident satisfaction.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Regional Manager to support portfolio performance, financial results, and overall property operations while helping ensure communities meet company standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of multifamily communities
  • Assist the Regional Manager with portfolio performance, reporting, and operational priorities
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Community Managers and onsite teams
  • Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, collections, expenses, and overall financial performance
  • Conduct property visits and inspections to ensure operational and brand standards are maintained
  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews
  • Assist with staffing, training, performance management, and coverage needs across the portfolio
  • Help resolve resident concerns, operational challenges, and escalated property issues
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Promote consistent policies, strong communication, accountability, and exceptional resident service throughout the portfolio

Qualifications:

  • Previous multifamily property management experience required
  • Prior experience as a Community Manager, Senior Community Manager, or Assistant Regional Manager preferred
  • Strong understanding of property operations, leasing, occupancy management, and collections
  • Experience reviewing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of communities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned communities
