Job Summary
The Secretary II, under minimal supervision, performs intermediate secretarial and clerical duties, involving specific routines and application of established policies and procedures, and performs other related duties as assigned. The Secretary II may provide direct support to the district office administration, inclusive of multiple departments. Due to the busy nature of the district office, the employee must be able to routinely work well under pressure and remain calm and tactful with students, parents, community members, and staff. Employee must adhere to appropriate dress and grooming standards. This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on Range 17, with step placement dependent on relevant work experience. *All applicants are required to take the MCUSD Clerical Eligibility test.
