The Opportunity

We are representing a well-established global manufacturer seeking a Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of a successful, multi-million-dollar sales territory throughout Michigan and portions of Northern Ohio and Indiana.

This is not a build-from-scratch territory. The region has an established customer base, strong distributor relationships, and significant existing revenue. The opportunity is to maintain those relationships while identifying new ways to expand market share and grow the business.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow an established multi-million-dollar territory
• Develop and strengthen relationships with industrial distributors and channel partners
• Drive sales through distribution while building relationships with key end-user customers
• Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
• Conduct joint sales calls and field activities with distributor sales representatives
• Provide product expertise, demonstrations, and application support
• Develop territory strategies to increase market penetration and revenue
• Maintain a consistent presence throughout Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Northern Indiana
• Collaborate with sales leadership and internal teams to support customers and distributors

What We're Looking For

• Proven outside sales experience within welding, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a related technical market
• Experience selling through distribution strongly preferred
• Ability to manage and grow an established geographic territory
• Strong relationship-building and account management skills
• Comfortable working directly with distributors and industrial end users
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a territory independently
• Technical aptitude and willingness to become a product/application expert
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
• Ideally located in Michigan or within reasonable access to the core territory
