Basic Job Functions:

The District Sales Manager (DSM) will be primarily responsible for taking care of our customers by building and sustaining strong, engaged relationships. This includes developing an effective territory marketing, teammate development, volume and pricing strategy for the San Antonio region. This role calls for a high level of collaboration with sales and non-sales teammates within the entire Vulcraft/Vecro group in order to drive enterprise-wide results. The DSM must relocate to San Antonio, Texas and be willing and able to travel.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Three years of commercial experience or one year experience in steel joist and deck industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Construction Mgt., or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Previous supervisory experience
• Desire to advance within Nucor
• Desire to advance withing Nucor and willing to relocate for future opportunities
