Title: District Sales Manager

Location: Remote/On-the-road (Seattle, WA Area)

Type: Direct-Hire

Role Overview

As a District Sales Manager, you lead district sales efforts in alignment with corporate guidelines. The primary focus is expanding the client base through targeted, approved sales and marketing programs. You provide strategic leadership to drive district growth and achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

Manage achievement of corporate objectives by individual product lines within the district, staying within budgeted financial guidelines.

Recruit, select, and direct sales staff to meet or exceed corporate goals; monitor attainment vs. forecast and take corrective action as needed.

Identify potential management candidates and escalate to Zone Manager.

Manage line-by-line items of corporate-assigned budgets.

Project a positive image representing the corporation to clients and the community.

Cultivate and develop a referral network among certified public accountants (CPAs), enrolled agents, and bookkeepers through the sales staff.

Collaborate with branch managers on mutual objectives and problem-solving using partnership principles.

Ensure accuracy of weekly activity reports; audit commission and expense reports.

Initiate, participate in, and supervise ongoing training for sales reps in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales skills.

Qualifications & Preferences

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing.

3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing.
