Job Summary

Knowledge of: Extensive vocabulary and correct spelling, grammar, usage and punctuation in English and in Spanish. Ability to conduct and demonstrate simultaneous and consecutive interpretation technique. Modern office methods and procedures for the preparation of business correspondence, reports, filing and office equipment operation. Strong oral and written communication skills in English and in Spanish, must demonstrate ability to speak and read.

Requirements / Qualifications

Proof of HS Graduation, Cover letter, Reference Letters, and Resume must be attached for consideration. - At least one reference letter must be provided by a current supervisor. - TB Test will be required upon employment offer.

TYPING CERTIFICATE - If you are selected to move forward you will take the typing exam at our District Office. EDUCATION - High school diploma or GED certificate supplemented by recent college-level courses in Spanish. EXPERIENCE - Two years of increasingly responsible translating experience. - Two years of increasingly responsible clerical experience including composing, editing and or translating materials in English and Spanish. Previous work experience in a public school setting and bilingual certification is highly desirable. TB SKIN TEST - Will be required upon employment offer

• Letter(s) of Reference (3 current reference letters dated within 2 years)
• Other (Cover Letter)
