DESCRIPTION
The East Troy Community School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE District Wide Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will possess strong background, knowledge, skills, and attitudes that support the district and schools by demonstrating the ability to:
- Support the District leadership as needed. This includes creating documents and presentations, maintaining records and resources, creating and publishing newsletters, managing staffing and open enrollment data, assisting with survey development and resulting data analysis, composing and advertising open positions, and scheduling new hire interviews.
- Serve as the primary administrative support for the Director of Teaching & Learning by maintaining records, submitting state reports, managing purchase orders, assisting with professional development and educator induction, administering employee service awards, and coordinating Title Grant funds with local private schools.
- Administer the Red Rover platform, including onboarding substitutes, generating payroll reports, troubleshooting system issues, and assisting building administrative assistants and substitutes with scheduling and vacancy coverage.
- Design and create district communications, including website content, social media posts, announcements, community mailings, press releases, and district newsletters.
- Support the district Summer School program by revising documents, assisting with registration, responding to parent inquiries, submitting and managing orders, and maintaining budget and attendance records.
- Lead the Kiwanis Student of the Month program by coordinating nominations, recognitions, and ceremony preparations.
- Build positive relationships with staff, parents, and community members via various venues.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest professional ethical standards.
