The Rice Lake Area School District is seeking a districtwide school counselor to work as a member of a collaborative team to deliver a data-driven, comprehensive school counseling program that is preventative in design, developmental in implementation, and supports students in the Rice Lake Area School District in the areas of academic achievement, college and career planning, and personal and social development. The successful candidate will be a leader who possesses the knowledge, abilities, skills, and attitudes necessary to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, results-based school counseling program. Exceptional candidates will have knowledge and skills in PBIS, social and emotional learning best practices, trauma sensitive practices, mental health supports, and in working as a team to create a safe, caring, and equitable environment where children''s needs are met through prevention, identification, and evidence-based intervention.
