To coordinate and manage all aspects of environmental, health and safety (EHS) management across the global division to successfully meet or exceed enterprise and business unit goals.
The position has a dotted line relationship with the Global EHS Director for EMG
This position has direct and indirect reports at the 14 Global Manufacturing Sites in 3 countries
This position requires significant flexibility to accommodate frequent travel both domestically and internationally
This position has responsibility for the safety of over 4000 Team Members in the Global Division

Competencies
Must have good skills in leading and influencing change and be an agent of change management in multicultural environments in sites in the USA, Mexico and Asia.
Must be competent in developing a strategic plan.
A solid working knowledge of EHS regulations
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to influence people at all levels.
Must be able to comprehend and interpret applicable EHS requirements and translate them into the business language for clear understanding by the business unit leaders and employees.
Must be able to learn and understand the business.
Must have strong process skills for standardization, continuous improvement and program management.
Must have a passion for EHS and able to translate into practical action.
Must have good problem-solving skills and experience.
Must be able to work independently.
Work Experience
10+ years of experience in an industrial work environment with EHS responsibilities, or other applicable EHS experience.
Experience in leading safety programs in an industrial setting.
Experience managing people and programs in a multi-site environment
Experience with resource conservation management/ sustainability programs
Experience leading industrial hygiene programs
Experience with heavy industrial equipment
Preferred
Experience in the environmentally hazardous waste management industry.
