Diversity Equity & Inclusion Business Analyst Diversity Equity & Inclusion Department Summary The DEI Business Analyst will support the firms Diversity Equity & Inclusion Department by maintaining reliable data sources producing clear reporting and insights coordinating industry benchmarking submissions and supporting quality assurance for final deliverables. This role reports to the Senior Manager of DEI Analytics & Reporting and partners with department leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to support data-informed decision-making. Apply Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field required coursework or certification in data analytics data science statistics or a related discipline preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis reporting business analysis or workforce analytics. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required experience with SQL Power BI Tableau data visualization tools preferred. Experience managing projects recurring reporting processes survey submissions or cross-functional data requests preferred. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to validate data conduct quality assurance reviews document processes and adapt as priorities shift. Duties and Responsibilities Key responsibilities include Analyze DEI talent and workforce data to identify meaningful trends patterns and opportunities for action. Validate clean and review data to ensure accuracy consistency and quality. Develop reports interactive dashboards presentations and recurring scorecards that translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences. Maintain data sources definitions reporting calendars process documentation and standard operating procedures to support consistent DEI analytics and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve data processes reporting workflows and team efficiency. Coordinate industry benchmarking external recognition and client-facing submissions by gathering inputs validating data managing timelines and drafting clear responses about the firms DEI policies and initiatives. Prioritize and manage recurring and ad hoc data requests ensuring stakeholders receive timely accurate and actionable information. Partner with stakeholders across Professional Development Human Resources Recruiting IT Marketing Business Development resource groups and firm leadership to define project requirements scope objectives timelines and success measures. Monitor project and initiative progress adjusting scope or timelines as needed to support successful outcomes. Qualifications continued Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain data clearly and develop concise narratives insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences. Proven success in a corporate setting working with all levels of management. Superior judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee data with discretion and in accordance with firm policies. Cross-cultural skills and awareness. Familiarity with the responsible use of AI tools to support data analysis generate insights and improve analytical workflows preferred. Experience in a professional services andor law firm a strong plus. Duties and Responsibilities continued Develop and track DEI metrics to measure progress against goals and assess the impact of programs initiatives and strategic priorities. Maintain DEI project and request tracking in the designated project management system to monitor workflow and follow-through. Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate team leadership and escalate issues promptly when necessary. Support the DEI teams adoption of new tools enabling the effective and confident use of firm - approved technology. Handle confidential and sensitive employee data with discretion and in accordance with firm policies. Perform other related duties as assigned to support evolving department and business needs. Uphold high standards of confidentiality discretion and integrity particularly with respect to all sensitive andor confidential firm and client information to which this position will have access. Status Exempt Reports To Senior Manager DEI Analytics & Reporting Workplace Type Hybrid Salary range of 77100 - 96400 dependent on candidate experience. Candidates hired for staff positions with a minimum work schedule of 30 hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare insurance.
