Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Network Optimization. You will be responsible for the research, planning, and development of key strategies and initiatives, including but not limited to:
• Channel Management • MD Now Optimization • Strategies • Transfer Center • Telemedicine • Creating future strategies aimed at growing business with our existing health networks and outlying communities.
Responsibilities
• Leadership and Governance: Create the vision and strategic direction for Network Optimization across the Division, including team structure and resources. Develop analytic framework, goals, and reporting process for tracking network retention. • Collaborate with division and hospital leadership to identify growth opportunities through robust analytics. • Partner with the division Business Development and Physician Sales teams and leaders to execute key growth strategies. • Initiate communication with key stakeholders to be proactive in problem resolution and act assertively to develop and maintain high levels of team performance. • Data review, accountability, measurable metrics. • Continuously assess workflows, processes, and procedures to identify areas of improvement while also developing and implementing best practices and appropriate changes to improve outcomes. • Maintain awareness of the current and potential competitive forces in the marketplace and ensure that the entity has an active and continuous plan. • Drive division strategic and operational growth plans in regional outreach. • Support outreach and transfer center operations with analytics and new processes towards retention goals. • Execute telemedicine plan, including outreach in collaboration with Division and Corporate telehealth leaders, as well as the tracking of metrics and goals. • Vet new technologies and oversee their launch.
Growth and Expansion of Service Lines
• Will be expected to become an expert at utilizing all forms of market analytics, state data, claims data, EMS data, transfer center data, Network Insights, etc., to help diagnose network weaknesses. • Serve as subject matter expert for planning, data capture, market share opportunity assessment, marketing, sales, as related to network initiatives. • Formulate and gain approval for network-related business plans and objectives consistent with the Divisions mission, goals, and strategies.
Other
• Establish collaborative relationships with key managers and departments in the system, hospitals. • Develop programs to deliver medical services and interact with providers and consumers worldwide through affiliation arrangements, advanced communication and information technology development, and if appropriate, facility construction. • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value statement. • Other duties as assigned.
What Qualifications You Will Need
• Bachelors Degree required. • Masters Degree preferred. • Minimum of 3 years related experience progressively responsible experience in the healthcare industry, to include demonstrated success in an administrative capacity.
