  • Provide strategic leadership and management of day-to-day operations and set a clear vision and execution of short- and long-term growth, value and service for the Division with a spirit of innovation, while maintaining appropriate standards of care and in balance with the multiple, tripartite mission of the University.
  • Provide direct patient care in the inpatient setting as a licensed and fully credentialed provider as a member of BUMG.
  • Oversee the members of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology Medicine ensuring adequate weekday and call coverage and the delivery of timely, high-quality clinical care.
  • Strategically recruit and retain talented faculty to support clinical growth, expand the Division's research footprint, improve the national reputation of the Division at the University of Arizona and Banner Health, and ensure excellence in the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows.
  • Represent the Division in the areas of financial performance, faculty career development, research, education and clinical care. Achieve local, regional and national visibility and prominence in the subspecialty.
