Title: Division Controller - CAPV

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $235,000-$300,000

Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

The Chlor Alkali Products & Vinyls (CAPV) Division Controller is a key financial leader responsible for driving the financial integrity and performance of the CAPV business segment. This role oversees Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for the CAPV segment and manages accounting and reporting for the Chemicals business. The position is a trusted advisor to CAPV business leaders and plays a critical role in both tactical execution and strategic planning.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for the CAPV segment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and actionable recommendations to support decision-making and optimize overall business performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, and identify risks and opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee accurate, timely financial reporting for the Chemicals business in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the integrity of segment financial statements by maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Partner with CAPV leadership to evaluate business strategies, assess financial risks and opportunities, and support initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with CAPV business leaders and cross-functional teams, serving as a trusted financial advisor.
  • Act as a key liaison between segment operations and corporate finance to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''''s or Master''''s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; Master''''s Degree preferred; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in business planning, strategic analysis, financial planning and analysis, or a related field in the chemical or manufacturing industry required. Experience in the chemical industry preferred.
  • Direct leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams required.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in business planning software and tools. Experience with PowerBI preferred.
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
