    JOB SUMMARY:

    Provides technical and professional services in a program area of a state agency.

     

     

    JOB DUTIES:

    15% - Training and Reporting: Coordinates and reports on all office training offerings. Plays a role in training, education, and/or teaching. Maintains reports, spreadsheets, and summary data on participating groups. Assists with presentation development and resources for trainings. 25% - Office Case Management: Monitors the office's case management system. Documents receipt of new cases and maintains a case checklist. Monitors and records case duration, disposition and date of close out. Assists with case correspondence and investigations. Maintains case files electronically and assists with records retention in compliance with the University's retention plan. 30% - Operations/Logistics: Oversees the daily operations and administrative support activities for the Division of Civil and Individual Rights (DCIR). Leads and oversees the administrative functions, staff, and training for the DCIR support staff, student workers, and campus partners where appropriate. Assists with coordinating Title IX, Title VI, and Title VII. Acts as primary contact for DCIR departments. Manages office procedures, policies, and services. Handles matters that do not involve policy -making but requiring immediate action. 15% - Program Support and Communication: Maintains discretion when handling confidential information and office situations. Serves as liaison for the Title IX Coordinator when requested. Prioritizes and referes inquiries to the appropriate points of contact for issue resolution. Assists in composing and coordinating confidential correspondence and reports for DCIR/Title IX Coordinator. Performs duties in a professional manner; ensuring confidentiality, honestly and integrity. Serves as DCIR liaison for special projects when requested. 15% - Other responsibilities: Participates in departmental and division meetings and events. Serves on special project teams and provides role-related training as requested by Title IX Coordinator. Coordinates the development and publishing of the DCIR website and other marketing materials with MARCOM. Serves as the division procurement card holder. Process all invoices, purchase orders, visitor, and speaker travel and reimbursements.

    Minimum Requirements:

    A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

    Not responsible for supervising employees.

    Doesn’t provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may manage fund allocation

    Expected Salary Range

    Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:

    Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
