The Division of Student Success Ambassador supports multiple student-facing departments across campus, including wellness initiatives, leadership development, career readiness, and student engagement efforts. This role is designed for an active, motivated student who is passionate about helping peers, creating welcoming environments, and promoting campus resources.

Division of Student Success Ambassadors serve as peer leaders and campus representatives by assisting with events, outreach, office operations, student support services, and communications. They also serve in a student-facing, front desk capacity across multiple campus spaces, including the Wellness Den, RISE Center, and S203 operational office. This position reports to designated professional staff within Student Affairs and may assist multiple departments based on campus needs.

JOB DUTIES

Event & Campus Engagement

  • Support campus events through setup, check-in, teardown, and cleanup.
  • Staff resource fairs, workshops, student programs, wellness events, career fairs, and leadership activities.
  • Engage with students at events and provide a welcoming presence.
  • Promote student participation in campus opportunities and services.
  • Represent the college professionally when interacting with students, staff, faculty, vendors, and community partners.
  • Contribute ideas for future events, programs, and student engagement opportunities.

Student Support & Resource Connection

  • Assist students in navigating campus resources and support services.
  • Promote wellness resources, leadership opportunities, career services, and basic needs support.
  • Connect students with professional staff when additional assistance is needed.
  • Support peer-to-peer encouragement and student belonging efforts.

Marketing & Communication

  • Assist with promotion of events and services through flyers, digital signage, social media, newsletters, and word-of-mouth outreach.
  • Help increase awareness of campus opportunities among students.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for college initiatives.

Office & Program Operations

  • Maintain organized office, storage, and resource spaces.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, forms, sign-ins, and administrative tasks.
  • Help maintain programs such as clothing closets, snack stations, laptop loan inventory, or other student support resources.
  • Support digital platforms such as event systems or student engagement tools as assigned.
  • Serve in a student-facing, front desk capacity across multiple campus spaces, including the Wellness Den, RISE Center, and S203 operational office.
  • Maintain division procedures that support operational excellence.

Professional Development

  • Complete required trainings such as FERPA, Title IX, confidentiality, customer service, and other campus trainings.
  • Build transferable skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, professionalism, and problem-solving.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional customer service, dependable, and motivated to help others.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations.
  • Organized anddetail-oriented.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule preferred.
  • Reliable transportation for off-campus events, if applicable.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have completed FAFSA on file
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
  • Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelors Degree
  • Must be seeking an eligible program of study
