Primary Responsibilities - Review and process incoming division orders from operators and purchasers
- Calculate and verify complex divisions of interest from source records
- Analyze and interpret title opinions, leasehold ownership reports, conveyances, assignments, leases, operating agreements, pooling and unitization agreements, and other title documents and oil & gas agreements to verify interests and update land records
- Assist the Land team in interpretation of leases in connection with division orders to determine if leases are held by production or if the lease has terminated
- Investigate and resolve issues related to division orders, ownership disputes, and payment discrepancies. Be a strong advocate of company interests to ensure proper revenue payments.
- Build a rapport with remitters of revenue and maintain effective communications to quickly reconcile interest discrepancies or assets held in suspense and ensure correct, timely revenue payments in accordance with the leases on company interests
- Maintain and update ownership records in the firm’s land management systems
- Assist in resolving accounting issues as needed
- Maintain lease, division order, and well records
Experience:- Irth, Pandell, Quorum, Land Solutions, Site Traker, etc or similar Data Base experience for
